Range, Stove & Cooktop Repair in San Diego County
Freestanding ranges, slide-ins, pro-style dual-fuel ranges and drop-in cooktops — gas, electric and induction. Burner, spark, valve and control repairs done right.

Cooking equipment is where we see the widest range of failures, from a five-minute spark module swap to a full burner valve rebuild on a pro-style range. It's also the category where safety matters most: gas leaks, ignition faults and scorched wiring are not things to leave alone.
Gas ranges and cooktops
- Burner won't light but you can smell gas — spark module, igniter electrode, or a fouled burner cap
- All burners clicking constantly, even when off — moisture or a stuck switch in the spark circuit
- Weak, yellow or uneven flame — burner port blockage, bad orifice, or a unit converted to the wrong fuel
- Simmer burner won't hold a low flame — valve needs cleaning or rebuild
- Griddle or grill section not heating on a pro range
- Gas smell with no obvious cause — stop using it and call us
Electric and induction cooktops
- Radiant element dead or stuck on high — element, infinite switch, or relay board
- Induction hob showing an error code or shutting off mid-cook — cooling fan, power board, or an over-temperature condition
- Touch controls unresponsive or firing on their own — user interface board or moisture intrusion under the glass
- Cracked ceramic glass top — replaceable on most models
- Downdraft ventilation not running or not retracting
Pro-style ranges
Wolf, Viking, Thermador, Dacor, BlueStar, Miele and La Cornue ranges are built to be rebuilt rather than replaced, and parts are generally available for decades. Burner valve rebuilds, spark module replacement, oven igniters and control repairs are all routine work on these — and far cheaper than the $8,000 to $20,000 a replacement runs.
If you smell gas: don't use the appliance, don't operate light switches, open a window and shut off the gas at the appliance valve if you can reach it safely. If the smell is strong, leave and call SDG&E at 800-411-7343 first, then call us for the repair.

Questions
Range, Stove & Cooktop Repair — questions we get asked
My gas burners click constantly and won't stop. What is it?
Almost always moisture in the spark switch or a burner cap that's misaligned or wet after cleaning. Dry everything thoroughly and reseat the caps first. If it keeps clicking, the spark module or a burner switch has failed and should be replaced — continuous sparking is not something to live with.
Can you rebuild the burner valves on a Wolf or Viking range?
Yes. Valve rebuilds and replacements are standard work on pro-style ranges, and they're the correct fix for a simmer burner that won't stay lit at low settings.
Is a cracked glass cooktop safe to use?
No. A cracked ceramic top can let liquid reach live elements and the crack will spread with thermal cycling. Stop using that zone and get the top replaced.
Do you convert ranges between natural gas and propane?
Yes, where the manufacturer supplies a conversion kit for that model. The orifices and the regulator both have to be changed and the burners re-checked afterward — it isn't a matter of just swapping jets.
