Who we are
CA Pro Masters is an independent appliance repair company serving San Diego County. We are not a franchise and not a call center — when you phone, you reach people who repair appliances for a living and who will tell you on the phone whether your problem is worth a service call at all.
In 20+ years we've built the two things that actually matter in this trade: pattern recognition across a lot of machines, and a stocked van. Most repairs finish on the first visit because we've seen your failure before and the part is already on the truck.
What we specialize in
Every appliance company says "all major brands." We do repair all major brands — but the work we're known for is the premium built-in and pro-style equipment that a lot of general repair companies decline: Sub-Zero and Viking built-in refrigeration, Wolf and Dacor cooking equipment, and Miele's dishwashers, laundry and steam ovens.
That work needs three things a general handyman doesn't have: sealed-system refrigeration capability with EPA Section 608 certification, familiarity with each manufacturer's diagnostic system, and the patience to pull an 84-inch column out of finished cabinetry without damaging anything.
How we price
We diagnose first, then quote. You get the part cost and the labor cost before any repair work starts, and you decide. We don't do surprise line items, and we don't inflate a repair to make a job worth driving to.
We'll also tell you when not to repair something. A 12-year-old mid-range washer with failed bearings is usually not worth the labor. A 15-year-old Sub-Zero with a sealed-system leak almost always is, because replacement runs five figures. Those are different answers and you should get the right one.
